Our Honorary Queen of Hearts!

"OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!"

You won't find that kind of attitude from Becky Halon.  Becky will be our guest speaker at our Tea in Wonderland and our honorary Queen of Hearts because she truly has a heart of gold.   When you donate to the American Heart Association, that donation goes back toward research and education in the fight against heart disease.  One big focus of our education mission is CPR training, which saved Becky's life.

On July 1, 2010 Becky suffered from Sudden Cardiac Arrest.   She was lifeless for 72 minutes.  Her husband along with many doctors and nurses revived her against all odds.  Her husband performed CPR for 11 minutes until paramedics arrived and could take over compressions. After a long journey, Becky is alive and well today thanks to the quick thinking of her husband & the doctors who helped save her life.  She and her husband, Josh, are the proud parents to 3 children and her story has been featured on MSNBC nightly news and the Today show

Becky is so very grateful to the many people and advances in care that have contributed to her success story. She is overwhelmed with excitement about giving back and hopes to do this by sharing her story and the emphasis on the importance of CPR.  We will be offering our "Don't Be Late" CPR station at our Tea in Wonderland.

We're looking forward to hearing more of your story, Becky!
